Bandai Namco has sold Park Beyond developer Limbic Entertainment, which it acquired in 2022, to “a private investor specializing in video games,” the company said.
The sale forms part of Bandai Namco’s strategy “to refocus its portfolio to areas where the company delivers the strongest content.”
According to Bandai Namco, Limbic Entertainment will “continue its entrepreneurial and creative journey in the specialist segment of building and management simulation games.” Its leadership and company name will remain unchanged.
“We’re proud of what the teams have achieved over the years and wish our friends at Limbic all the best with their projects as an independent studio,” Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe CEO Arnaud Muller said.
