Shueisha, Pierrot, and Epic have announced that characters from Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will be featured in Fortnite. This crossover event is scheduled to begin on December 20, 2025. Further details about the event, including the in-game appearance of the Dual Zangetsu, are expected to be revealed on December 23, 2025.
The trailer for the Fortnite crossover event showcased Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Uryu Ishida, and Orihime Inoue. Reflecting the latest Thousand-Year Blood War arc of the anime, these characters appear older. Orihime is depicted in her Karakura High School uniform, while Ichigo and Rukia wear their standard Soul Reaper outfits. This update brings four of the five original main cast members into the game, with Yasutora “Chad” Sado being the only one not yet included.
The official teaser trailer is available below. It presents footage from the anime for each character, followed by their in-game Fortnite model, allowing for a direct comparison.
Fortnite frequently features anime crossovers. Recent additions in 2025 included characters from Kaiju No 8 and One Punch Man.
Fortnite is accessible on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, and mobile platforms. The Bleach characters will arrive in the game on December 20, 2025. The final season of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity is scheduled to air in 2026. Previous seasons and the original anime are currently available for streaming on Disney+ and Hulu. Viz Media publishes the manga outside of Japan.
