Marvelous has rolled out versions 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 for the dark science-fiction action title, Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion. These updates introduce three new boss enemies and address various issues, including a critical bug in the “Into the Abyss” expansion pack that could halt game progression.
In celebration of the holidays, Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is also available at a discounted price for the first time. All digital editions of the game and select downloadable content are 30 percent off on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Nintendo eShop, and Steam. New Bosses
- “Chaldia,” “Insania Rex RT: Ω,” and “Immortal Void RT: Ω” have been added as new formidable adversaries.
- Corresponding missions, “Battle Chaldia’s Effigy,” “Battle Insania Rex RT: Ω,” and “Battle Immortal Void RT: Ω,” are now available in the Rematch Simulator at the base.
Bug Fixes (Version 1.2.1)
- An issue in multiplayer where enemies defeated in water would remain in a lootable state on the guest side has been resolved.
- A bug preventing bike upgrades after reaccepting the mission “Subject: Let’s ride!” has been fixed.
- Issues with certain forms not inverting or rotating in the Decal Editor have been corrected.
- A freezing issue during HUD customization under specific conditions has been addressed.
- Progress halting during “Rescuing Raven – Defeat the Axiom Soldiers” in multiplayer has been fixed.
- The screen no longer remains dark when Seer is defeated in missions like “Subject: Prototype performance test.”
- The knuckle “Abrupt Shock” can now equip the “Physical Damage ↑” attachment.
- The auxiliary equipment “Fortis” can now equip the “Total Ammo ↑” attachment, and attachment slots are now added correctly during its development.
- Damage reduction when attacking from a grab state with the “Grand Chariot” blade has been fixed.
- In multiplayer, during Chapter 11 “Developing Specialized Equipment,” leaving the party before delivering a key item no longer removes it from possession.
- Missions related to Enfoca can now be accepted even if Enfoca was defeated during a mission request.
- Weiser RT: α now appears in the mountainous area as intended.
- The objective for “Investigate Zeruchroar” no longer displays unintentionally when the mission is not accepted.
- Fog no longer persists if a guest joins after defeating the “All-Seeing One.”
- Toby now appears correctly when playing “Forge’s Request: Lapis Lacrima” via the Rematch Simulator.
- The “New” mark is now applied upon obtaining Flying Swallow.
- Attack judgment no longer remains after defeating Dreadnought at specific times.
- Insania Rex can now be defeated even if a mission was abandoned at a certain time.
- Multiplayer display bugs when firing straight down with the Heavy Armor “Falx” have been resolved.
- Incorrect values in multiplayer when checking another player’s information have been fixed.
- An issue allowing Arsenals to be unequipped via a specific procedure when loading loadout data has been corrected.
- It is no longer possible to equip a passive skill of a different level than the player’s own when acquiring a fusion skill.
- Sniper rifle cooldown times are now consistent whether in or out of scope mode.
- Player hair no longer disappears at the base entrance when using “Reset Body” or turning off “Outer Mutation” with severe mutation.
- Legs no longer become transparent in the Grand Entrance “Starting Up the Arsenal” when greaves are hidden.
- Grausam RT: Ω no longer gets stuck in Femto ore during battle.
- Movement behind the background near the Western Laboratory area has been prevented.
- Numerous issues within the “Into the Abyss” expansion have been fixed, including: game progression halting in “Investigate the Depths,” music and sound stopping, sudden player warps during Snatcher battles, Blossom’s partner registration and voice becoming unobtainable, game freezing after completing “Deactivate the 3rd Layer of the Forcefield” and disbanding multiplayer, Blossom disappearing under certain conditions, inability to carry the battery in Locus Initi’s Third Survey Area General Control Building, Blossom’s hairstyle distortion during event scenes, movement behind the background in Locus Initi’s Third Survey Area General Control Building, Spit Bee: E being placed out of bounds, inaccessible items in the Sovereign Axiom Femto Function Research Building, excessive Peculiar Scrap from containers, Peculiar Scrap appearing in unreachable locations, attack effects from Grand Entrances not occurring during battle with Rebellion RT: Ω in multiplayer, incorrect Immortal appearance locations, projectile effects of some Assault Shift-equipped armor, incorrect critical range for the “Notung” laser blade, inability to equip “Rapid-Fire Capability ↑” attachment on Laser Minigun and Laser Machine Gun, “Battle Crossandra,” “Battle Exploit,” and “Battle Aggregate” not registering or disappearing in the Simulator, and inability to re-enter the Sovereign Axiom Communications Tower after clearing it.

- New attachments have been added: Memory Consumption ↓ Lv4 and Memory Consumption ↓ Lv5.
- An issue where the main story would progress unintentionally when accepting a simulator mission during Chapter 10-3 “Talk to Raven” has been fixed.
- An unintentional area alert after starting “Battle Rebellion RT: Ω” in the simulator has been corrected.
- A bug preventing Primordial from being defeated has been resolved.
