In addition to the digital DLC release, NEOWIZ plans to launch a new physical edition of SANABI for Switch in Japan. This “SANABI Signal Redux Edition” will be released on February 26, 2026, priced at 3,960 yen. It will contain both the main game and the “A Haunted Day” expansion. Pre-orders for this edition will include a special acrylic stand as a bonus.

About “A Haunted Day”
“A Haunted Day” serves as a prequel, unfolding before the events of the base game. It focuses on Major Song during her service at Uigeumbu No. 12 as she investigates a dangerous scrapyard. Unlike the grappling mechanics central to the main game, this downloadable content features combat gameplay that combines recoverable jumps with the powerful use of Song’s shotgun, allowing for impressive aerial maneuvers.
This first spin-off DLC for SANABI offers thrilling action that expands upon the main narrative. It includes eight new stages and two boss fights.
Story
Thirteen years prior, Major Song received an unusual order from her superior, directing her to a suspicious scrapyard located outside Hanyang. There, she encountered a barrage of bullets, explosions, and a general accompanied by a steel tiger.
The New Playable Character: Major Song
The playable character in this spin-off is Major Song, depicted during her tenure in Uigeumbu No.12, before her encounter with the General.
Stylish and Agile “Aerial Action” Platformer
Major Song demonstrates precise and agile aerial maneuvers. Her unique abilities, including a recoverable mid-air jump and expert shotgun handling, make her a formidable opponent, even against a General. The gameplay features a Burst Mode, which provides defense against enemy attacks and boosts the power of all actions, alongside an enhanced shotgun capable of inflicting significant damage. Players will control Major Song, recognized as the youngest individual to pass the martial exam and a government-certified living weapon.
Spin-Off Scenario: A Haunted Day
Operation 3 was initiated at an assault robot scrapyard, situated outside Hanyang. Major Song discovered a clue related to treason and confidently ventured into this vast scrapyard. However, the location felt unsettling. Aggressive robots and an ominous signaling device were present. With a superior issuing unreasonable orders, a scrapyard plagued by strange occurrences, and a general with a steel tiger, the day felt haunted. The mystery of what is unfolding in this scrapyard awaits players.
