Candleberries
Candleberries can be found on maps where the Cold Snap event is active. They appear as bushes laden with red berries, as depicted above.
These berries spawn in all Nature areas during a Cold Snap event. The map above highlights the three most effective farming zones due to their high density of Candleberry bush spawns.
An alternative method for acquiring Candleberries is through the Flickering Flames event’s reward track. This requires earning Merits.
Merits are accumulated by gaining XP during gameplay, with 1 Merit awarded for every 100 XP. The final batch of Candleberries is obtained at 11,400 Merits. This method provides a total of 180 Candleberries, meaning the remaining 80 must be gathered manually.
Items in Speranza
Before embarking on any raids for loot, several items can be acquired directly within the Speranza hub area:
- Snap Blast Grenade: Three can be purchased from Apollo for 2400 coins each. They can also be crafted at Explosives Station 2 using Crude Explosives x2 and Magnet x1. For crafting guidance, refer to the Workshop upgrades guide.
- Plastic Parts: Available for purchase from Celeste for 1 Seed each.
- Duct Tape: Available for purchase from Celeste for 6 Seeds each.

It is important to remember that loot spawns are largely randomized. The items found in each run can vary significantly, and other players may also collect items before you reach certain locations.
Despite the randomness, three primary areas within this map are crucial for item gathering.
Residences
Located in the northwestern part of the map, the Pale Apartments and Ruby Residence buildings are residential areas where the following items can be found:
- Candle Holders
- Frying Pans
- Coffee Pots
- Film Reels
- Music Albums
- Empty Wine Bottles
Thoroughly search every drawer and container within these buildings. Some items, particularly Candle Holders, are rare, but all can be acquired within this general vicinity.
Hydroponic Dome Complex
Situated near the center of the Dam Battlegrounds, this industrial area frequently yields:

Additionally, Mushrooms are often found on trees surrounding this complex, especially prevalent in the swamp area to the west.
Research & Administration
The Research & Administration and Control Tower buildings, located on the eastern side of the Dam Battlegrounds, are excellent sources for:
- Light Bulbs
- Music Albums
- Film Reels
- Empty Wine Bottles
- Fireball Burners (obtained from Fireball ARCs)
