An Unusual Upgrade Path
The Beelink GTi15 Ultra mini-PC was reviewed, featuring an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor with an integrated Arc 140T GPU. It includes 32GB DDR5-5600 SO-DIMMs, with a 64GB option also available. The tested unit came with a Crucial P3 Plus QLC NAND SSD in one NVMe slot, leaving another slot open for expansion. Connectivity is handled by Intel’s BE200 for Wi-Fi 7 and BT 5.4, alongside dual Intel 10Gbase-T NICs. A single 8x PCIe slot is present, designed specifically for the Beelink GPU dock rather than standard add-in cards.
The device offers substantial connectivity even without the optional dock. Its front panel features multiple USB 3.2 Gen2 ports. The rear includes a single 40Gbps USB4 port (not Thunderbolt compliant) and two older USB-A ports. Other connections include the dual 10Gbps Ethernet ports, an SD card slot, audio jacks, HDMI 2.0b, and DisplayPort 1.4.
Adding the optional dock significantly enhances the Beelink GTi15 Ultra’s capabilities. It allows for the installation of a triple-slot GPU, provides an extra M.2 2280 slot, and includes its own Wi-Fi radio to mitigate interference with the mini-PC’s built-in Wi-Fi when the dock is in use. The dock is equipped with a 600W internal power supply, sufficient for most high-end GPUs.
The Beelink GTi15 Ultra is an update to previous Beelink mini-PC designs, combining a fast Intel processor and a robust dual 10Gbase-T NIC with improved integration.
