The FPS Review has examined several MSI Project Zero products, including two B850 motherboards, an X870E board, an RTX 5070 Ti graphics card, and the MAG PANO 100R PZ Gaming Case. This particular review focuses on the case and the B850 GAMING PLUS WiFi PZ motherboard. A quick look at the image below illustrates the core concept of MSI Project Zero.

The distinguishing feature of MSI Project Zero is the absence of visible connectors on the front of the motherboard. Essential connections, such as the ATX 24-pin power, front panel headers, fan headers, and RGB headers, are all situated on the back of the board. This innovative design allows for virtually invisible wiring, contributing to a much cleaner internal PC aesthetic. Performance levels are comparable to other B850 boards, as the relocation of power connectors does not affect operational efficiency.
To fully leverage the benefits of MSI Project Zero, a compatible case is necessary. Such a case must provide ample space behind the motherboard for cable routing, accommodating all wiring (excluding non-MSI Project Zero GPUs) out of sight. The MAG PANO 100R PZ case, for instance, features a large cutout behind the motherboard and a side-mounted PSU, facilitating this clean build approach.
