The event is scheduled to conclude on January 11, 2026. This iteration represents the third Frosty Fest since the game’s initial release in September 2022.
Despite Splatoon 3‘s 2022 launch, the Frosty Fest Splatfest series began with the event held in January 2024. These events consistently feature winter aesthetics across Inkopolis and Splatsville, unique decorations, festive music, and distinct attire for Shiver, Frye, Big Man, Callie, and Marie. The inaugural Frosty Fest centered on the question, “Who do you spend the holidays with?” with choices including Friends (Shiver), Family (Frye), and Solo (Big Man), ultimately seeing Team Solo emerge victorious. The 2025 event posed the question, “What would make you happiest?” offering teams of Money (Shiver), Experiences (Frye), and Presents (Big Man), with Team Presents securing the win.
The 2026 Frosty Fest essentially reprises a previous event. Its theme is once again “Who do you spend the holidays with,” and the participating teams remain identical. Players can select Team Friends (Shiver), Team Family (Frye), or Team Solo (Big Man).
