Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has achieved a significant milestone, with global sales exceeding seven million units, as confirmed by Bandai Namco. This figure represents an additional one million copies sold since January 2025, when sales were last reported at over six million.
The game initially launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 18, 2019. It later became available for PC via Steam on February 1, 2019, and for Switch on July 11, 2024.
The entire Ace Combat franchise has now sold more than 21 million copies worldwide.
The next installment, Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, is scheduled for release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
