Lenovo has introduced the ThinkCentre neo 50q, a compact PC featuring the 3.0GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon X X1-26-100 processor. This system incorporates LPDDR5X-8448 memory, available in 16GB or 32GB configurations.
The device consumes only 26W of power, a notable efficiency compared to 35W Intel and AMD processors, though this benefit is less impactful in a system without a battery. Its dimensions are 182.9 x 179 x 36.5mm (7.20 x 7.05 x 1.44 inches), or 1 liter, and it weighs approximately 1.11 kg (2.45 lbs).
Despite its small size, the ThinkCentre neo 50q includes a variety of ports. The front panel features both USB-A and USB-C 10Gbps ports, along with a combo audio jack. The rear provides 1GbE LAN, two additional USB-A 10Gbps ports, and one legacy USB-A 480Mbps port. For video output, it supports both HDMI 2.1 and DP1.4b, with the Snapdragon processor limiting output to 4K@60Hz. An M.2 slot is available for optional Wi-Fi 6E (2×2) with Bluetooth 5.3.
