NVIDIA and Discord have collaborated to streamline game discovery and social play. This new integration, powered by GeForce NOW and first demonstrated at Gamescom, allows users to find and play games like Fortnite directly within Discord, without requiring downloads, installations, or even a GeForce NOW membership.
A limited-time trial of the GeForce NOW Performance tier supports this enhanced experience, enabling streaming at up to 1440p and 60 fps directly from Discord. This offers Discord’s vast user base a quick and easy method to play together and maintain gaming discussions within the platform.
Fortnite is the first game available through this integration, currently rolling out to players. Joining the action requires only a click on a Discord chat link and an Epic Games account login. This integration provides a novel approach to game discovery and play, allowing publishers to deliver seamless gaming experiences to communities globally.
