Bandai Namco has revealed Dragon Ball New Game Project AGE 1000, a new title set to launch in 2027. Specific platforms for the game have not yet been disclosed.
This game has been under development for six to seven years, including its initial concept phase. It will introduce a new character, designed by the late Dragon Ball creator, Akira Toriyama.
Further details about the game are expected at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026, which is scheduled for April 18 to 19, 2026, at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California.
Bandai Namco has shared the following information:
A completely new Dragon Ball world and original characters, all conceived by Akira Toriyama, are part of this new game project slated for 2027.
A previously unseen character, personally designed by Akira Toriyama, will make its debut within the new Dragon Ball world, “AGE 1000.”
The “AGE 1000” project is also set to introduce additional unique characters as the adventure progresses.
The Dragon Ball universe continues to grow.
The newest updates will be revealed at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026 in the U.S. on April 18 to 19, available to attend in person or via live stream.
