Heroic Games Launcher, a popular tool for playing games from GOG, Epic, and Amazon on SteamOS, Linux, and Steam Deck, has received a new update.
Version 2.19.0 introduces numerous enhancements, including expanded store support. This release now includes experimental integration for ZOOM Platform games, currently available for Linux users. The developers noted an increase in community contributions, alongside challenges with “AI slop” in recent contributions.

Key highlights of this release include:
- Experimental integration for ZOOM Platform games, currently exclusive to Linux.
- macOS users with M-series chips gain DXMT support. Installing Wine-Staging will reveal two variants; existing Wine-Staging installations require reinstallation to access the DXMT variant.
- A new Launch Options setting has been added for compatible games.
- An Import button has been added to game pages for easier access.
- Sync-Saves options are now available on the Game page.
- The Steam installation button on macOS has been removed due to functionality issues; alternative automation methods are being explored.
- Irrelevant options for Linux and macOS have been removed.
- General improvements to gamepad navigation.
- Initial support for AppImage auto-updates is now available on Linux.
- Both Setup and Portable versions for Windows are now digitally signed.
- Electron has been updated to v39.
- gogdl and legendary have been updated with fixes for game listing and update bugs.
- The DXVK Frame Rate option has been removed from the Linux version, as it was deprecated in DXVK itself (still available on macOS).
- Irish translations have been added.
- An accessibility option to disable all animations is now available.
- Various other fixes and improvements have been implemented.
