The Game Boy – Nintendo Classics application has expanded its game library with the inclusion of Balloon Kid and Yoshi, as announced by Nintendo.

Below is a summary of each game, based on their original descriptions:
Balloon Kid
Players can soar through the skies in Balloon Kid. Navigating treacherous environments requires a light touch, as hostile flying creatures challenge piloting abilities. Descending too low reveals even more dangerous enemies on the ground. Collecting all available balloons provides extra bonuses and presents a series of skill-based challenges. The game tasks players with helping Alice find her missing brother. It supports single-player gameplay or competitive races against a friend using a Video Link cable.
Yoshi
This puzzle game features an airborne invasion of Goombas, Bloobers, and Boo Buddies. Players assist Mario by catching falling characters on trays, then switching and shuffling them to create matches. Stacking two identical characters makes them vanish. Alternatively, players can trap multiple characters between matching egg shells; when the shells align, Yoshi hatches, boosting the score. The pace intensifies as characters fall more rapidly, and the game ends if piles become too high. Difficulty levels can be selected for high score attempts or competitive play against a friend in a head-to-head challenge. For those who enjoy Dr. Mario but seek a new type of puzzle experience, this quick-shuffle action puzzle game offers a fresh challenge.
