Good Smile Company announced new Nendoroid figures for Final Fantasy characters during its Nendoroid FUNS 2026 Winter showcase. The initial lineup includes characters from FFI and FFXIV, alongside the classic Chocobo series mascot. While specific release dates are not yet available, the Warrior of Light figure is expected to be released first.
Both the Final Fantasy Chocobo and FFI Warrior of Light Nendoroid figures draw inspiration from their classic designs. The Warrior of Light figure is depicted with vibrant colors, reflecting Yoshitaka Amano’s artwork, complete with a sword and horned helmet. The Chocobo Nendoroid captures its signature wide-eyed, chibi appearance seen in early games and spin-offs like Chocobo’s Dungeon. No additional accessories were shown for the Chocobo.
Regarding FFXIV, three Nendoroid figures are confirmed to be in development: Estinien Varlineau, G’raha Tia, and Y’shtola Rhul. As these figures are still in early stages, only concept art for these Scions of the Seventh Dawn members was presented.
