Monster Hunter Wilds approaches its first anniversary. A new Ver 1.041 update is scheduled for February 18, bringing a first-anniversary in-game event and fresh content.
Monster Hunter Wilds – February update
The February 18 update marks the start of a series of first-anniversary events. Players logging in between February 18 and March 19 will receive a special item pack and a free Character and Palico Edit Voucher.
Festival of Accord
The Festival of Accord seasonal events are returning on a weekly rotation during the anniversary celebration. This offers an opportunity to acquire special equipment and login bonuses from each event.

- Blossomdance: February 18th – February 25th
- Flamefete: February 25 – March 4
- Dreamspell: March 4 – March 12
- Lumenhymn: March 12 – March 19
10-star Arch-tempered Arkveld is here
Arch-tempered Arkveld becomes a permanent Event Quest starting February 18. The four apex predators of each locale—Rey Dau, Uth Duna, Nu Udra, and Jin Dahaad—will also appear as ★10 Arch-tempered monsters.
Completing all ★10 Arch-tempered Arkveld Event Quests and special environment quests unlocks a high-difficulty Free Challenge Quest: the ★10 Arch-tempered monsters Hunt-a-thon quest. These quests present a substantial challenge for experienced hunters.
The winners of the Original Weapon and Pendant Design contest are here
The update features the winning weapon and pendant designs from last year’s Original Weapon and Pendant Design Contest. Players can acquire both by undertaking the permanent Event Quest, Every Hunter’s Dream.
A collaboration with Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection
A special collaboration celebrates the release of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection. This event allows players to obtain unique Royal Palico Rudy Costume α Palico equipment and special Monstie-themed pendants.
New side missions unlock free quests centered on egg transport, with potent eggs yielding increased rewards upon delivery to camp for Rudy.
New Event Quests will appear weekly
Monster Hunter Wilds will continue to receive new event quests weekly. These quests offer opportunities to acquire special pendants, feature less-hunted monsters, and provide the dazzling Gala Suit α and Felyne Star α armor sets.
The final Free Challenge Quest, Arch-tempered Arkveld, will be available from March 19 to March 31. Most event quests, with a few exceptions, will become permanently accessible after February 18.
