2025’s best-sellers
The latest Circana monthly sales report for video games in the US has been released, providing an updated look at 2025’s best-selling games so far in the US. This data runs January 5, 2025 through November 29, 2025.
The biggest takeaway for the new October data is that Battlefield 6 remains the No. 1 best-selling game of 2025. Its biggest competitor, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, launched on November 14 and was November 2025’s best-selling game, but ranks No. 7 overall for 2025. The data does not tell the whole story, as Black Ops 7 is also available on Xbox Game Pas, which eats into full-game sales.
The top five best sellers for 2025 so far include Battlefield 6, NBA 2K26, Monster Hunter: Wilds, Borderlands 4, and EA Sports College Football 26.
There are some key caveats to be aware of. This list includes physical and digital sales data, but not from every publisher. For example, Nintendo does not share digital sales data for any game released on its platforms. Also of note is that the list is ranked on dollar sales, not unit sales. The list also does not include revenue from sales of any add-ons for games, nor does it account for popularity on a service like Game Pass.
