Team Fortress 2 has received a new update, which will be automatically applied upon restarting the game. This patch addresses several issues, including fixes for an item, a map, and adjustments to two unusual effects.
Key Changes in the Latest TF2 Update
- The Mad Drip cosmetic item has been updated to resolve issues with its Levels of Detail (LODs).
- The map cp_cowerhouse received a fix to address a regression introduced in the previous update.
- The Sandy Unusual effect has undergone several adjustments:
- Movement State: Sand clouds now have a camera depth bias of 0 (down from 5). This change aims to prevent dust clouds from unintentionally obscuring the player model in certain situations.
- Idle State:
- Idle sand clumps now have locked rotation, ensuring that the falling sand is not affected by the camera’s position.
- The camera depth bias for idle clouds has been changed to 5 (down from 10) to prevent them from occluding the player model at unintended angles.
- The Sizzling Unusual effect has also been updated:
- The sequence random value has been adjusted from 4 to 3. This modification is intended to stop steam sprites from spinning rapidly and erratically.
