The 8-bit side-scrolling action adventure game Lovish will launch on February 5. Players can experience this title on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam. The game is a collaboration between publisher DANGEN Entertainment and developer LABS Works.

In Lovish, players control Sir Solomon, a knight determined to rescue the princess from the Devil Lord’s castle. His mission is not only to free her but also to win her affection, leading him to embark on this quest alone, leaving his companions behind. The game features nostalgic, room-by-room action.
Each of the game’s more than 50 levels presents a dynamic combination of combat, platforming, and puzzles, with various objectives to complete. After clearing a room, players encounter randomized event scenes that can lead to unexpected RPG battles or bizarre outcomes. Players can strive for the best clear times to compete with friends. With over 100 characters, an in-game shop, secret bonuses, and mini-games, Lovish delivers a unique retro-style adventure filled with surprises, humor, and replayability.
As Sir Solomon, players navigate through a series of compact rooms, engaging monsters, collecting items, and finding the exit. Following each room’s completion, a brief cutscene plays, offering unpredictable events such as item discoveries, random RPG encounters, or even world-altering scenarios. The challenge lies in conquering each room of the Devil Lord’s castle, one at a time.
