Stamina management is a significant challenge in Starsand Island. The available stamina often feels insufficient for all tasks, requiring careful resource allocation.
The game does not explicitly detail all methods for stamina recovery, and one particular mechanic is frequently overlooked. This guide explains how to replenish stamina in Starsand Island.
How to Recover Stamina in Starsand Island

As players engage in more activities such as farming and animal husbandry, the stamina bar often proves inadequate. There are two primary methods for stamina recovery: resting at the Hot Springs and consuming food.
While eating food for stamina is straightforward, especially with abundant berries, the Hot Springs mechanic is not explicitly taught. It represents one of the most efficient early-game methods for increasing stamina.
To begin, Hot Spring Tickets must be purchased from the General Store or vending machines located throughout Starsand Island. Each ticket costs 100 Gold, though occasional discounts may be available.
With a Hot Spring Ticket in the inventory, players can then utilize the Hot Springs.

The Hot Springs are situated in Maple Reed. Multiple locations exist, and interaction with any of them allows for rest and stamina recovery.

Upon locating a hot spring, interacting with it will automatically consume one Hot Spring Ticket, initiating a resting period. Stamina recovers at a rate of approximately 2-3 points per in-game minute, meaning a full recovery from zero can take a considerable amount of time.

While sufficient time remains for other activities, using the hot springs twice in a single day may be challenging due to time constraints, depending on the player’s daily pace.
As resources accumulate and gold becomes less of a concern, consuming food becomes a preferred method for quick stamina recovery. In many scenarios, cooking food is prioritized, valuing time efficiency over raw resource efficiency. The choice ultimately depends on available ingredients for cooking or eating.
