Corsair has expanded its FRAME 4000D series with two limited-edition models: the Vault Series Nova and Galaxy cases. These new cases feature distinctive color-shifting finishes. The Nova case shifts from blue to teal to purple when viewed from different angles, while the Galaxy case transforms from pink to green to grey.
Both new cases are based on the existing FRAME 4000D chassis design. Key features include a compact power supply shroud, which provides space for a 120mm floor fan, and a full tempered-glass side panel. The front I/O panel has been upgraded, now featuring three USB-C ports: one ultra-fast 20Gbps port and two 5Gbps ports. Additionally, a 3.5mm audio jack and an ARGB-illuminated power button with an MX-style green mechanical switch are included.
These Vault Series cases are part of the FRAME Modular Case System, offering extensive customization options. Users can perform panel swaps, upgrade components, and implement various cooling configurations. The InfiniRail fan-mounting system provides flexible fan placement, supporting up to 200mm fans at the front and 140mm fans on the roof. The chassis is capable of housing dual 360mm radiators and up to thirteen 120mm fans. A GPU anti-sag arm is also included to provide support for modern graphics cards. The internal side panel can serve as a cable cover or be removed to install additional fans.
For storage, the cases feature removable trays that can accommodate one 3.5-inch drive or two 2.5-inch SSDs. Cable management is streamlined with integrated cable hooks, tie-downs, and a dedicated mounting pocket for the iCUE LINK System Hub. It is important to note that neither the Nova nor the Galaxy case includes pre-installed fans, requiring users to budget separately for cooling solutions.
