Bandai Namco has divested Limbic Entertainment, the studio behind Park Beyond. The developer, originally acquired by Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe in 2022, was sold to a private investor specializing in video games.
This sale aligns with Bandai Namco’s broader strategy to concentrate its portfolio on areas where it can deliver the most impactful content.
Limbic Entertainment is expected to continue its focus on building and management simulation games. The studio’s leadership and company name will remain unchanged following the divestment.
Arnaud Muller, CEO of Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe, expressed pride in the teams’ accomplishments over the years and extended best wishes to Limbic for their future projects as an independent studio.
