The annual winter event in Escape from Tarkov brings festive Christmas Trees to every map, offering valuable loot and Christmas Ornaments for player hideouts.
This guide details the locations of all Christmas Trees across the maps in Escape from Tarkov.
Customs Christmas Tree – Middle of Dorms

On the Customs map, the Christmas Tree is situated between the three-story and two-story dorms, a highly contested and dangerous area. Loot items appear around the tree, often directly on the snow, which can make them difficult to spot initially but easy to collect once familiar with the spawns.
Players spawning near Smuggler’s Boat or the broken wall close to the two-story dorms have a strategic advantage, often being the first to reach this Christmas Tree location.
Interchange Christmas Tree – Old Scav Camp (Co-op)

The Interchange map features a Christmas Tree next to the former Scav Camp (Co-op) extraction point. Following the 1.0 patch expansion of Interchange, PMC spawn points in this area were adjusted, moving them closer to the transit and railway.
The new camp situated near the railtracks, just north of this Scav Camp, attracts many players, potentially making it a PvP hotspot.
Valuable loot can be found scattered around the Christmas Tree, on the adjacent couch, and on the card displaying presents on the opposite side of the tree.
Woods Christmas Tree – By the Shore Near Sawmill

On the Woods map, the Christmas Tree is positioned by the shore near the Sawmill. This specific path is typically only accessible during the winter event, effectively extending the map. Notably, this location remains consistent with previous Christmas Tree events, unlike some other maps.
Loot items are dispersed around the tree, on the couch, the table beside the couch, atop wooden planks, on the chair, on the floor near the deceased body, next to the generator, inside the boat, and along the wooden planks leading to the tree.
Reserve Christmas Tree – Open Area Near the Knight Building

The Reserve map’s Christmas Tree is found in an open area near or just beyond the Knight building, closer to the train extraction. This location, surrounded by small bunkers, is highly exposed to the dome sniping position.
Loot is scattered around the tree, next to presents, and on wooden planks. This area often features a denser concentration of valuable items, making it a potentially lucrative spot, especially when utilizing a no-backpack extraction strategy.
Shoreline Christmas Tree – Middle of Resort

On the Shoreline map, the Christmas Tree is positioned directly in the center of the Resort. This year’s location is significantly more hazardous than the previous year’s spot on the west side, as players are exposed to fire from nearly every surrounding window.
Loot can be found on ledges, benches, around the tree, and near presents. Despite the inherent danger of this location, ample cover can facilitate escape, assuming opponents’ aim is not precise. Using a painkiller before attempting to loot this area is also advisable.
