The “Work Preparation” quest marks the 12th main mission within Arknights Endfield. This walkthrough provides a comprehensive guide to completing all objectives for this main quest.

Advancing this objective offers various approaches. The Operational Manual provides numerous activities, including daily tasks and Training, that contribute to your progress.
Experience points are also gained from Protocol Space events. These events consume Sanity, a resource that regenerates over time. Players can undertake these events repeatedly as long as Sanity is available. Protocol Space events are discoverable throughout the map during exploration.
Complete mission: Restart Area Stock Redistribution I
To proceed with the “Work Preparation” quest, the mission “Restart Area Stock Redistribution I” must be completed.
Go to the Control Tower and talk to Director Qin.
Fast travel to the Hub Base.
Proceed east towards the research center and interact with Director Qin.
Return to Dijiang
Open the map using the Touchpad.
Press Triangle to access the Dijiang map. Utilize the teleport point. This action will trigger a cutscene. The cutscene includes several dialogue options, but these choices do not alter the outcome.
Follow Xaihi to the Manufacturing Cabin
Follow Xaihi to the east. Ensure the depot directly ahead is activated.
Xaihi will lead to a closed door.
Construct the Manufacturing Cabin
Approach the door and interact with it to construct the cabin.
Use the control panel
Enter the room to initiate another cutscene.
Interact with the control panel located in front of you. Select the “View Manufacturing” option.
Press Square to assign an operator to the cabin. Confirm the selection by pressing Triangle.
Next, press “Select Plan.”
Hold R2 to increase the quantity of Elementary Combat Records to be crafted to 20. Then, confirm the order. Exit the menu.
Follow Xaihi to the Reception Room
Exit the room and turn left, following Xaihi northwest.
Enter the Reception Room to trigger a cutscene.
Follow Xaihi to the Bridge
Head west out of the Reception Room. Xaihi will guide you across the hall and towards the bridge. Entering the bridge will trigger a cutscene.
Activate the Control Nexus of Dijiang
Ascend the ramp. Then, approach the circular floor section to trigger a cutscene.
Once control is regained, approach the Control Nexus and select “View.”
Similar to the Reception Room, an operator must be selected to manage the Control Nexus. If a character offers a higher percentage, choose that character. Otherwise, any character can be selected. Confirm the selection, then exit the menu. This action will trigger several cutscenes.
This completes the “Work Preparation” main quest in Arknights Endfield.
