DeepCool introduces the CH260 Wood Grain Edition, expanding on the original CH260 micro-ATX chassis. This new version adds sophisticated timber-effect accents to the side-mounted I/O cluster, catering to a growing trend for organic aesthetics in PC hardware. Available in both black and white, the CH260 Wood Grain Edition aims to provide a compact, airflow-optimized case with a more integrated, furniture-friendly appearance.
The “pixel” customization system from the initial CH260 remains, allowing users to personalize the perforated front and top panels with rubber bits to create unique patterns or logos. Beyond its visual appeal, the CH260 variant continues to be a strong choice for contemporary PC builds, particularly those utilizing “back-connect” motherboard designs. DeepCool has included a generous 29.6 mm of clearance behind the motherboard tray, facilitating clean cable management for these rear-mounted headers and ensuring a tidy interior view through the tempered glass side panel.

Despite its 30-liter volume, the internal layout offers surprising flexibility. It accommodates full-sized graphics cards up to 388 mm in length with front fans installed, or up to 413 mm if a more minimalist cooling setup is chosen. CPU cooling options are robust, with space for air towers up to 174 mm tall or a 360 mm radiator mounted at the top. Power supply compatibility extends to ATX units up to 150 mm long. Builders should note that cable routing may become tighter when both the single 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drive bays are in use.
Thermal performance benefits from a wraparound mesh design covering the front and top panels, complemented by three removable dust filters for easy maintenance. Connectivity features modern standards, including a 10 Gbps USB-C port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and standard audio jacks. The black version is currently available in the Chinese market for approximately 399 yuan (£42), with the white model priced slightly higher at 449 yuan (£48). Pricing and availability for other regions have not yet been announced.
