InWin has officially launched the W31 mid-tower chassis, following its initial reveal at CES 2026. This case is designed to offer a modern “panoramic” aesthetic while maintaining a relatively compact footprint.
The W31 chassis, reported by Cowcotland, boasts a continuous curved tempered glass panel that extends across the front and side. This panel is secured with a single thumbscrew, allowing for easy, tool-less access. Measuring 460 x 285 x 400mm, the case is designed to accommodate full ATX motherboards, including those with back-connector designs such as Asus BTF and MSI Project Zero.
The internal structure of the W31 utilizes a dual-chamber layout. This design separates the power supply unit (PSU) and storage drives behind the motherboard tray, which helps optimize airflow for the main components. Cooling capabilities are extensive, with support for up to ten 120mm fans. The case includes four pre-installed 120mm fans: one exhaust fan at the rear and three reverse-blade intake fans positioned on the side. For liquid cooling setups, a 360mm radiator can be installed at either the top or bottom. However, side-mounted radiator support is restricted to 240mm or 280mm due to space limitations.
Hardware compatibility is robust for a case of its dimensions. The W31 can house graphics cards up to 410mm in length, power supplies up to 240mm long, and CPU air coolers with a maximum height of 160mm. The top-mounted I/O panel provides connectivity options, including a 20Gbps USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×2 port, two USB-A 3.0 ports, and controls for the integrated ARGB lighting hub.
