How to Get Alien Research Points in Roadside Research
Alien Research Points are earned by collecting trash and placing it into the yellow recycler box located in the Alien room. Initially, players manually pick up each piece of human trash and deposit it into the recycler. After placing the trash inside, pressing the button will analyze it, yielding Alien Research Points. Instead of simply discarding human trash in a dumpster, processing it through the recycler provides valuable points for acquiring Alien upgrades. Researching trash is key to progressing.
Upon unlocking items like the trash can, players can place one in their shop. Customers will then naturally dispose of their trash there. When the trash can fills, it can be emptied by right-clicking it, selecting the trash bag, and transferring it to the recycler.
It is important to note that other objects, such as storage containers from orders or fuel tanks, cannot be analyzed for Alien Points. Placing these items inside the recycler may cause them to become stuck. Therefore, the focus should remain on human trash.
