Similar to catching fish, the mini-game’s moving cursor must remain on the treasure chest icon for a set duration. As the cursor stays on the icon, an outline will gradually form. Once the outline is complete, a geode is unlocked. The accompanying fish must also be successfully caught to receive the geode.
For the simplest method of obtaining a geode, focus on catching the Blue Tang. These fish are abundant a short distance from The Forgotten Dome, and they frequently yield geodes.
How to crack a geode in Abyss
After acquiring a geode, return to The Forgotten Dome and find Virelia, who is situated next to the Tubes store. Interact with her to request that she crack the geode. This service incurs a cost and requires a short waiting period. Once cracked, the geode reveals an Artifact that can be equipped to provide a stat boost.
