Rainbow Six Siege has been a part of the Xbox Game Pass product family for six years. This 5v5 online tactical shooter combines raw shooting skills with crucial map knowledge and awareness. In the game, two teams of five, Attackers and Defenders, face off. The Attackers’ goal is to defuse a bomb planted by the Defenders, with the first team to win seven rounds securing the game. For the past decade, Ubisoft has organized official esports competitions globally, where teams from around the world vie for the ultimate prize: the Six Invitational.
The Six Invitational marks the conclusion of the Rainbow Six Siege Esports year.
This event is where world champions of Rainbow Six Siege are crowned before a live audience, and this year introduces a significant new development.

1V1 NOW by Xbox Game Pass on Stage
In 2026, R6 Esports expanded beyond its traditional 5v5 format by launching a 1v1 circuit in collaboration with Xbox Game Pass, known as 1V1 NOW by Xbox Game Pass.
This marks the first instance in 10 years that Ubisoft has officially organized a 1v1 tournament for Rainbow Six Siege.
The 1v1 format has gained immense popularity in recent years, transitioning from a basic training mode into a competitive format championed by prominent content creators within the game, including Jynxzi and Spoit.
This open tournament structure allows players globally to engage in R6 esports from their own homes.
With over 3,200 registered players across Europe/MENA, North America, Asia Pacific, and South America, the top player from each region advances to the final phase in Paris at the Six Invitational.

This competition offers an ideal platform to showcase world-class individual performances from players who might otherwise remain unnoticed by professional teams.
The inaugural edition features four regional representatives: MlKE from NAL (North America), SelimShady from EML (Europe MENA), Lebyrinth from APL (Asia Pacific), and STK from SAL (South America). Many of these competitors are seasoned players, having participated since the game’s alpha version.
The four semi-finalists of the 1v1 NOW Xbox tournament will experience their first trip to Paris.
These players will compete for a spot in the grand final and a share of the $5,000 prize pool.

The semi-finals are scheduled for February 14, with the grand final taking place on stage at the Adidas Arena in Paris on February 15. Both events can be watched on the official R6 Esports and Xbox Twitch channels.
