Vampire Crawlers, a new fast-paced deck-builder from developer poncle, expands upon the world of Vampire Survivors. This title, first announced in November, is a casual deck-builder that shares the same universe as its predecessor and is anticipated to be another success for poncle.
The developer recently revealed that the game has already accumulated over 170,000 wishlists on Steam. Poncle stated: “So far we have published only what is effectively a hype trailer to try to convey how it feels to play Vampire Crawlers, with a few sneak peeks at many of the game features and options to snowball into unhinged chaos. So, for a first update, we are showing a new gameplay trailer and some simple and unedited gameplay footage of the very first dungeon floor, focused on basic gameplay. This should let you see what is at the core of Vampire Crawlers: have fun playing satisfying abilities in turbo turn-based battles, at whatever speed you prefer.”

- Snowballing, turn‑based carnage: Players can chain cards in ascending mana order to create powerful combos. Each subsequent card’s effect is multiplied, and “Wilds” can extend the chain to reach impressive multipliers.

- Deck-Building mechanics: Players gain experience and level up to acquire new cards, find customization gems and power-ups in chests, pursue weapon evolutions, and summon survivors to trigger cascading effects that can break the game.
- Dungeon Crawling exploration: Dungeons feature functional walls, unique treasures, and various interactions. A shovel can be found to progress to the next floor, which may take place in elevated environments.
