Twitch and Cover have confirmed that an emote featuring Motoaki “Yagoo” Tanigo, CEO of the Hololive and Holostars Vtuber company, is now available for all users. This emote became accessible globally on the evening of January 8, 2026, allowing any logged-in user to utilize it in chat.
The Yagoo Twitch emote initially debuted during a Hololive and Holostars Holoday Vtuber event on Twitch, held on November 20, 2025. During this event, various Cover performers from the English and Indonesian branches streamed on Twitch, offering viewers the chance to earn three exclusive emotes by watching for specific durations.
Currently, only one of the three Yagoo Twitch emotes from the Hololive and Holostars event is universally accessible. This is the “Kingoo” design, which depicts Motoaki Tanigo’s smiling face in gold. The other two emotes from the event were the copper “Yagoo” and silver “Sadgoo” styles. Users can activate the available emote by typing :yagoo: in chat.
