The official Persona 30th anniversary website from Sega and Atlus reportedly hints at “the next chapter” for the series, a detail noted by fans.
Persona will reach its 30-year milestone in 2026. Sega has indicated plans for “special events, anniversary merchandise, and more” to commemorate this.
While Atlus has confirmed Persona 4 Revival for a post-April 2026 launch, much anticipation surrounds the unannounced Persona 6, especially since Persona 5 is approaching its tenth anniversary.
The possibility of an announcement is heightened by the Google search snippet for the official Persona 30th-anniversary website.
According to social media users, the snippet states: “2026 marks the 30th anniversary of Persona! Come celebrate the journey as we usher in the next chapter for the series.”
The phrase “next chapter” does not appear on the website itself. While the wording allows for various interpretations, an announcement for the next main installment from Atlus would align with the significance of the upcoming anniversary.
Reports suggest Persona 6 has been in development for a while. Previous insider claims indicated it will not be a PlayStation console exclusive and is likely planned to coincide with the 30th anniversary.
