Bandai Namco and Toho Entertainment have unveiled new Gekizo Series figures, which fuse the Type-3 Kiryu Mecha Godzilla with designs inspired by Evangelion units. These figures will be available in two distinct finishes. Listings are live on the Toho Entertainment Online storefront in Japan, with overseas shipping facilitated by Buyee. The release is scheduled for June 2026.
Both the standard and metallic variants are priced identically. A single random figure costs ¥3,278 (approximately $21.20), while a complete set of four is ¥13,112 (around $84.60). Each figure stands approximately three and a half inches (nine centimeters) tall. The designs showcase the Type-3 Kiryu Mecha Godzilla adorned with color schemes from the Rebuild of Evangelion films. These include designs resembling Shinji Ikari’s Unit-01, Rei Ayanami’s Unit-00, Asuka Shikinami Langley’s Unit-02, and Mari Makinami Illustrious’ Unit-08.
Below are images of the standard variants of these Gekizo Series Type-3 Kiryu figures.
Official photos of the metallic finish variants are shown here.
The crossover between Godzilla and Evangelion is not new, with previous collaborations dating back to 2023. These collaborations often feature various types of figures, and in some instances, an Eva-01 model kit has appeared with a Godzilla color scheme.
